It was established on 1956 and have since opened three international campuses in Tashkent, Uzbekistan; Johor, Malaysia; and Chennai, India.
MDIS offers courses in Business and Management, Engineering, Fashion Design, Health and Life Sciences, Information Technology, Mass Communications, Nursing, Psychology and Travel, Tourism and Hospitality Management
MDIS is actively reaching out to the young, elderly and disabled to offer them help. They are also active in supporting various charities, and providing community assistance

Applicants must fulfill any of the following minimum requirements:
- Foundation/Diploma: 5B in SPM/IGCSE
- Degree:
- UEC: 1A1, 2A2
- STPM/Foundation/Diploma: CGPA > 3.25
- A-Level: 1A, 2B
Awards Details
Fee Waivers:
- Foundation/Diploma: Up to 100% for the full programme
- Degree (UEC): Up to RM 10,000 for the first year
- Degree (Non-UEC): Up to 50% for the first year
- SPM: As includes A-
