Getting here: Accessible via Rapid Penang bus routes (101, 103, 104, and 304) that stop along Jalan Utama and Jalan Residensi near the campus. Faculties / Programmes: Specialises in Medicine and Health Sciences, offering programmes such as the Undergraduate Medicine (MB BCh BAO) degree awarded by the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) and University College Dublin (UCD), as well as the Foundation in Science and Medical Science programmes.
Established in 1996 as Penang Medical College and rebranded as RCSI & UCD Malaysia Campus (RUMC), it is the only Irish university branch campus in the region. Students complete their pre-clinical training in Dublin and clinical training in Penang, blending Irish medical education with Malaysian healthcare experience.
