How to qualify

Requirements

  • Malaysian Citizen
  • Only the latest SPM Trial results are accepted
  • Minimum of 1A in the SPM Trial required
  • Applicable to both online and conventional Foundation/Diploma programmes
  • Applicable to UNITAR Main Campus (KJ), UNITAR College, Regional Centres (Exclude UNITAR Partner RC, ANS) & UUCKL.

Highlights

  • Minimum requirement to maintain the awarded amount in Official SPM Results:
    • 100% fee waiver: Minimum 7As
    • 35% fee waiver: Minimum 5As
    • 25% fee waiver: Minimum 3As
    • 10% fee waiver: Minimum 1A
  • Cannot be on top of other forms of UNITAR Merit Scholarship and other financial assistance and bursary schemes. Students will be entitled to only one scholarship or bursary (whichever is higher). The only exception to this is Registration Fee Waiver and Student Get Student which can be on top of the SPM Trial Scholarship.
  • The applicant is responsible for paying the tuition fees remaining after any scholarship deduction by the specified due date.
  • Scholarship recipients must also achieve and maintain the following academic requirements to continue enjoying the scholarship. Failure to maintain the following academic requirements may be subject to suspension or termination of the scholarship.
    • Maintain CGPA of 2.5 per year (Scholarship amount equal or less than 35%)
    • Maintain CGPA of 3.0 per Year (Scholarship amount equal to 100%)
  • Applicant will be registered as UNITAR’s Student Ambassador and will contribute 60 hours Per Year to assist UNITAR in their activities as notified by UNITAR.
