- Location : Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
- Nearby : Close to Bangsar, Bangsar South, and the neighbourhoods of Petaling Jaya; many malls, cafés, and commercial zones nearby. Accessible via Jalan Pantai Baru, Federal Highway and Universiti LRT station.
- Getting here : UM operates its own shuttle / e-shuttle bus services connecting major parts of campus, residential colleges, Library, hostels etc. For external access, the Universiti LRT station (Kelana Jaya Line) is one of the nearest rail stops; buses such as RapidKL routes T789 and T790 serve UM campus from nearby transit stations. From Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), one can take KLIA-Express to KL Sentral then connect via LRT/bus/taxi to UM; taxi direct takes about 1 hour.

- Campus size is large and green, with many natural and built amenities.
